This is one of the houses that multiple slave families would share just to get an idea of how small they were. We stay in cottage number 4 on the property which is a hundred years old and we were told the history of this cottage. At one time this small cottage had housed four different freed slaves familys at the same time. It was four rooms at that time no kitchen or bathroom existed indoors. Hard to image four separate family living in such a small place.
