Houston skyline from Sesquicentennial Park in downtown Houston. It was one of those morning with beaufiful blue sky and wonderful clouds in the sky to create this nice cityscape of the city. The Sesquicentennial park was established in 1989 along the banks of the Buffalo Bayou along the Theater District.  The park is an 22.5 acrea urban park and was  officially establish in 1986 to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the founding of the city of Houston.  The park was was done in two phases and was officially finished in 1998.  The park features "Seven Wonders", a set of seven pillars illuminated from within by Houston native Mel Chin along with other sculptures and statues done by local artist along with a statue of George H W Bush our 41 president can be seen looking at the city skyline.
